Hi, I'm Jennifer—the photographer behind Rare Rose Photography.

I believe everyone deserves to have the moments they love captured and preserved. Whether we're celebrating a wedding, an engagement, a growing family, or a milestone, I want you to feel comfortable being yourself. I'll guide you when you need direction, give you space when moments unfold naturally, and pay attention to the little things that make your story yours.

I also believe booking a photographer should feel exciting, not overwhelming. I understand that photography is an investment, and I want to make the process as approachable as possible. With a retainer to secure your date and payment options for your remaining balance, we'll talk through what you need and find an approach that works for you.

In 2019, my photography received recognition through RAREARTIST, powered by the EveryLife Foundation—a milestone I'm proud to carry with me as I continue to grow.

I'm also involved in the Capital Champlain professional photography community, where connecting with fellow photographers and continuing to learn are important parts of my journey.

Six years behind the camera have taught me that growth never really stops. Every wedding, engagement, family session, senior portrait, and celebration gives me another opportunity to refine my craft and create something meaningful for the people who trust me with their memories.

I cannot say enough about her…she was simply amazing from the very first contact. She answered every question, provided so much reassurance that all of the special moments would be captured, and is just so incredibly gifted and thoughtful. She and her assistant were a pleasure to have as part of our wedding and made the day so much more special! So many amazing photos from our day!

Rare Rose Photography is literally the best! Jen is amazing and is phenomenal with a camera! She came over to my house and took a ton of photos in various environments and with different lighting to give a wide variety of options and looks for my photos. She even was able to enhance the blue on my photos and cards to make the pictures literally perfect! I have used the photos she took of me for my business and to advertise for events that I'm a part of, ever since my epic photography session with her!
